Bio:

Lisa Meiners grew up in Lima, Ohio and graduated from Nyack College with a degree in Elementary Education.  For fifteen years she has been married to Dennis.  They have three children (Rachel, Kevin and Erik). 

Lisa has been teaching women's Bible studies for eleven years while substitute teaching in the public school system the last four.  To further develop her gifts for teaching and speaking, she trained at The Cove: first with Anne Graham Lotz and, at a later date, with Ken Davis in his Dynamic Communicators’ Workshop.

Deeper Still Ministries was founded from Lisa’s heartfelt desire to see every woman of God not only know the truths of God’s Word, but to go DEEPER STILL by applying and living out the truths of God’s Word.

She believes when the truths in God’s Word are known, applied, and lived out we will begin to see our faith transformed.  It is then alive and an active, undeniable part of our daily lives, affecting all that we are.

Statement of Faith:

We believe the bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative word of God.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,”  2 Timothy 3:16, NIV

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe all mankind must confess with their mouths “Jesus is Lord” and believe in their hearts God raised Him from the dead in order to be saved from their sins and experience eternal life.

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells in all who have experienced this rebirth through Jesus Christ.

We believe in the active ministry of the Holy Spirit which enables the Christian to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto eternal life and they that are lost unto eternal fire.
